Gwenpool (Gwendolyn Poole) is a comedic meta character who is a real-world comic book fan transported into the Marvel Universe. Aware she is in a comic book, she exploits the fourth wall and comic book logic to survive and fight. Created in 2016, she quickly developed a cult following, especially in the collector community.
