Talos first appeared in Captain Marvel #1 (2019) in the MCU, portrayed by Ben Mendelsohn. A Skrull commander who can perfectly mimic any person's appearance and cellular structure, Talos led a group of refugee Skrulls who had been displaced by the Kree-Skrull War. Initially positioned as the film's villain, he was revealed to be a sympathetic figure protecting his people — a subversion of the Skrull's comics history as invaders. His bond with Carol Danvers and Fury developed into a recurring MCU relationship. Hasbro Marvel Legends produced Talos in his Skrull and human forms.
