M.O.D.O.K. debuted as a Marvel Legends Build-A-Figure in Toy Biz's 2006 M.O.D.O.K. wave, the assortment that predates Hasbro's 2007 acquisition of the Marvel toy license. The assembled figure depicts A.I.M.'s Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing as drawn in Avengers and Captain America-era Marvel Comics, an oversized floating body locked into his signature hover-chair. Collectors built him piece by piece from parts packaged with wave companions such as Destroyer and Captain Marvel.

M.O.D.O.K. (Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing) is one of Marvel's most visually bizarre villains — a massive head with a tiny body seated in a hovering chair. A former AIM technician transformed against his will, M.O.D.O.K. is a genius-level threat despite his absurd appearance. He appeared as the main villain in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023).
