He-Ro is the 'most powerful man in the universe' from the unmade Powers of Grayskull MOTU prequel line, which Mattel prototyped in 1986-1987 but never fully released before the line was cancelled. He-Ro would have been the ancestor of He-Man set in the prehistoric era of Preternia. Only prototype figures were produced before cancellation, making him one of the most discussed 'what might have been' entries in MOTU history. He-Ro was later officially released in Masters of the Universe Classics (2008) as the line's first figure.
