Prince Adam is He-Man's secret civilian identity — a seemingly lazy, cowardly prince of Eternia who transforms into He-Man by raising the Power Sword and declaring 'By the Power of Grayskull!' The contrast between Adam's foppish persona and He-Man's power is central to the series. The 1984 Mattel Prince Adam figure in pink-and-purple outfit with Cringer was released as a distinct figure from He-Man. His 2021 Masters of the Universe: Revelation redesign by Kevin Smith brought new collector attention.
