About This Figure
Clamp Champ from Mattel's Masters of the Universe Origins line (Modern Era), released circa 2020–2025.
The nostalgia-coded MOTU return — 5.5-inch vintage proportions with modern articulation added under the hood. Origins deliberately echoes the 1982 line while delivering enough movement for posing.
Clamp Champ is the Royal Guard of Eternia and one of the few Heroic Warriors in the original Masters of the Universe line who is a Black character — notably joining in the later waves of the toy line in 1987. He uses a clamping tool as his primary weapon. He is highly regarded by MOTU historians for his cultural significance in the line.
