Cody Rhodes is the son of Dusty Rhodes who left WWE in 2016, cofounded AEW in 2019, and triumphantly returned to WWE in 2022. His 'Finish the Story' narrative of winning the WWE Championship for his late father culminated at WrestleMania 40 in 2024, one of the most emotionally resonant moments in recent wrestling history.
