The first line dedicated entirely to legends and retired stars — Jakks spent the sculpt budget on face accuracy, making these the definitive plastic versions of territory-era and golden-era talent.
Dean Malenko built his reputation in ECW and WCW through the mid-1990s as one of the most technically accomplished wrestlers in the world, earning the nickname "Man of 1000 Holds." Son of legendary shooter Boris Malenko, Dean won the WCW Cruiserweight Championship multiple times and had landmark matches with Rey Mysterio, Chris Jericho, and Eddie Guerrero. In January 2000 he joined the WWF as part of the Radicalz alongside Chris Benoit, Perry Saturn, and Eddie Guerrero. He won the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship and served as a key figure in the group's run. Jakks Pacific produced Malenko in their WWF lines.
