Terry Funk fights through the Three-Way Dance against The Sandman and Stevie Richards at ECW's first pay-per-view, Barely Legal, on April 13, 1997 at the ECW Arena in Philadelphia — a barbed-wire, Singapore-cane, ladder brawl that saw Funk moonsault off a ladder onto Richards to earn his shot. He turned right around and beat Raven the same night to capture the ECW World Heavyweight Championship. Mattel dresses him in the striped ring pants and headband from that night and hands him the title belt and branding iron, one of the line's earliest ECW-branded Elite figures.

Terry Funk is a legendary hardcore wrestler who continued competing well into his 50s and 60s. A former NWA World Heavyweight Champion, he is revered for his brutal and passionate brawling style. His feud with Ric Flair in the NWA and his ECW work are legendary. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009.
