Ultimate Warrior returned to the WWF at SummerSlam on August 29, 1992, held at Wembley Stadium in London, the promotion's first major stadium show outside North America, ending an absence dating back to late 1991 to challenge Rick Rude for the Intercontinental Championship and beat him for the title. Mattel's 2014 Elite 26 sculpt renders that Wembley look: face paint, arm tassels, and the pink, yellow, blue, and white knee pads and wrist bands, distinct from Warrior's earlier 1988-90 gear.

The Ultimate Warrior (James Hellwig, legally changed to Warrior) was one of the WWF's most electrifying performers of the late 1980s. His face paint, ring-shaking entrance, and intense promos made him a phenomenon. He won the WWF Championship at WrestleMania VI by defeating Hulk Hogan. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame hours before his death in April 2014.
