Mattel paid homage to the Hasbro era with vintage-style sculpts and the original 5-point articulation — nostalgia bait that worked, selling out faster than any Mattel line since launch.
Sting (Steve Borden) is the iconic face of WCW who never signed with WWE, making him one of the last major stars loyal to the WCW brand until it folded in 2001. Known for two distinct looks — the colorful surfer Sting of the late 1980s and the dark Crow-inspired Sting of the late 1990s — he finally appeared in WWE in 2014 and later joined AEW.
