Fish-headed and armored, Mer-Man reissues one of the original eight 1982 Masters of the Universe figures for Wave 3 of Origins in 2020. Removable chest armor sits over a sword-wielding grip, and some Walmart-carded stock of the release carried a New for 2021 package label. It ships with the "Dimensional Doom" mini-comic.

The nostalgia-coded MOTU return — 5.5-inch vintage proportions with modern articulation added under the hood. Origins deliberately echoes the 1982 line while delivering enough movement for posing.
Mer-Man is an aquatic Evil Warrior in Skeletor's service who rules the seas of Eternia. Part of the original 1982 Masters of the Universe toy line launch wave, he has one of the most distinctive alien designs in the MOTU line — a fish-faced humanoid with green scales. His toy appearance and animated appearance differed significantly.
