Nicknamed the Gonk droid by fans, this loose Power Droid comes from Kenner's 20-back Series 2 assortment, first shipped in 1978 as part of the 'second twelve' added to the original Star Wars line. It renders the boxy labor droid seen around the Jawa sandcrawler and the Death Star service areas in A New Hope, its one-piece molded body limited to swivel-hip articulation. No separate accessories were ever packed with the figure.
