The Emperor's Royal Guard stand sentinel in Palpatine's throne room aboard the second Death Star in Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983), crimson-robed and faceless protectors who never speak but never leave his side. Hasbro issued this Black Series 6-inch figure in vintage Kenner-inspired packaging for Return of the Jedi's 40th-anniversary celebration in May 2017, equipping the Guard with a blaster, a removable soft-goods robe, and the Force pike that was the character's signature polearm on screen.
