Hasbro released this retooled figure in May 2020 for the film's 40th anniversary, a repaint of the 2018 Phase III sculpt dressed in his signature Cloud City outfit and cape, complete with DH-17 blaster and communicator for the administrator turned reluctant ally.

Lando Calrissian is the Baron Administrator of Cloud City in The Empire Strikes Back (1980), played by Billy Dee Williams — one of the most charismatic characters in the original Star Wars trilogy. The 1980 Kenner Lando figure is a vintage collecting priority. His cape and silver-blue outfit are among the vintage line's most elegant costume designs. His appearance in Return of the Jedi as Alliance General and The Rise of Skywalker (2019) extended his legacy. Donald Glover played a young Lando in Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018).
