Tusken Raiders (officially Tuskens or Sand People) are the masked, bandage-wrapped indigenous inhabitants of Tatooine who appear in every film set on the planet. Their distinctive guffe masks, gaffi sticks, and mounted Bantha mounts make them one of Star Wars' most recognized alien species. The Kenner 1977 Tusken Raider is one of the original 12 vintage Star Wars figures. The Mandalorian significantly expanded Tusken culture and lore, making them sympathetic rather than simply hostile.
