Han Solo debuted in Kenner's original 1978 Star Wars twelve-back assortment, outfitted for A New Hope in a white shirt, black vest, and black trousers and boots. Production shifted late in the run from an earlier small-head sculpt to a later large-head sculpt, and some early examples also turn up with painted legs, black paint applied over white plastic. The figure carries a single black pistol.
