Luke Skywalker X-wing Pilot debuted on the second-series 20-back assortment in 1978, expanding the original 12-back Star Wars line with the character in his Rebel flight gear. The sculpt has him running the trench at the Battle of Yavin, the orange-and-white flight suit and helmet molded onto the body rather than left as separate pieces. He shipped with one blaster pistol, and Kenner never produced another X-wing-suited version of Luke in the vintage 3.75-inch line.
