Jaxxon captains the Rabbit's Foot, a green-furred, anthropomorphic Lepi space-rabbit created by Roy Thomas and Howard Chaykin for Marvel's Star Wars #8, "Eight for Aduba-3" (Feb. 1978). Han Solo and Chewbacca recruit him as one of a Magnificent Seven-style crew of mercenaries hired to defend a village on Aduba-3 against the outlaw Serji-X Arrogantus, spanning the #8-10 arc. Decades later he resurfaced in IDW's Star Wars Adventures, a run Hasbro cites alongside the original 1970s comics on this 2021 Lucasfilm 50th Anniversary release, which arms him with two blaster pistols true to his mercenary-captain design.
